The IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBS) Türkiye Section serves as an interdisciplinary platform uniting students, academics, and professionals working in biomedical engineering, healthcare technologies, and life sciences. Our events, held throughout the year, aim to foster scientific awareness, support professional development, and promote multidisciplinary collaboration.

EMBCON – IEEE EMBS Türkiye Conference

Held annually, EMBCON is one of the most comprehensive student conferences in biomedical engineering and health technologies. Through technical sessions, panel discussions, poster presentations, and industry collaborations, the event strengthens the bridge between students, academia, and the healthcare sector.

EMBCAMP – IEEE EMBS Türkiye Camp

EMBCAMP brings together EMBS student branches across Türkiye, offering an immersive experience that blends technical workshops with team-building activities, leadership development, and vibrant social interaction. The camp fosters long-lasting connections and encourages collaborative innovation among students.

WEBED – Monthly Webinar Series

Our monthly webinar series, WEBED, hosts esteemed experts who deliver talks on a wide range of topics—from artificial intelligence and biosignal processing to clinical applications and entrepreneurship. These sessions provide accessible, high-quality knowledge in an interactive online format.

EMBJOURNAL – Student Publication

EMBJOURNAL, curated and published by EMBS Türkiye student branches, serves as the voice of our community. It features technical articles, interviews, career tips, and updates on scientific advancements, reflecting the diverse interests and expertise of our members.

Technical Visits and Laboratory Tours

We organize technical visits to hospitals, research centers, medical companies, and laboratories, allowing students to observe the practical side of their academic knowledge and engage directly with the biomedical industry.
